The Product Application Engineer reports directly to the Product Application Manager and is responsible for performing all duties related to the repair of products and systems. This includes customer communications, estimating cost of repairs prior to servicing and training colleagues. The Service Engineer is accountable for delivering quality repairs on time at a profit. Customer satisfaction is the key component of the Service Engineers success.
* Responsibilities:
•Accountable for the overall service performance of quality product repairs
•Accountable for the overall installation and adjusting of product
•Manage service parts inventory minimum and maximum levels daily.
•Ensure service related metrics for Turnaround, Hit Rates and Mean Time to Repair are met as defined by management.
•Develops and mentors junior service team members.
•Maintains close relationship and clear communication with manufacturer Service Engineers
•Maintains strong customer relations and satisfaction; Proactively and diligently works to ensure customer problems are resolved quickly
•Helps in designing localized solutions to merge SITECH technology with local machines and workflows
•Ensure all Service related activities are captured in the company software system.
•Monitor trends and procedures to assist in the effective management of daily operations.
•Secondary service contact for internal sales staff
•Reporting of technical feedback to Service Manager and manufacturers as appropriate
•Assist in the development, documentation and maintenance of service related processes.
* Qualifications:
.Age 35 below
.University degree of survey/construction
.Minimum 2 years field experience in survey or construction
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
